What Does The Lump In Abdomen, Near The Spleen, Causing Severe Pain Be Significant Of?

Hi, I am a student nurse and today during an abdominal assessment we found a squishy lump in the left upper quad. near the spleen. 2 of my instructors felt it and didn't know what it was. It doesn't hurt until you mess with it and then it is slightly achy but then goes away. What do you think it might be?

It can be enlarged spleen or the splenic cyst . USG needs to be done for evaluation of cause .
