I have tried Ct scan of sinus and this report impression shows following points kindly give me suggestions on this points and remedies. 1.Minimal mucosal thickning noted in right half of frontal & left maxillary sinuses. 2.Concha bullosa of right middle turbinate. 3.deviated nasal septum towards left side.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of the CT scan is as follows: 1. The mucosal lining of left maxillary sinus and right frontal sinus is thickened. This thickening of the mucosa can be due to congestion or inflammation. In case of inflammation or infection, appropriate antibiotics need to be taken. 2. Concha bullosa refers to air filled turbinate of nose. This air filled cavity can cause maxillary sinusitis. the thickening of left maxillary sinus mucosa can be due to pressure of the concha bullosa. 3. Deviated nasal septum refers to deviation of the bony partition between two nasal cavities. The deviated nasal septum can lead to breathing problems, Thus, it has to be treated by surgery.
Consult your an ENT specialist with report for further management.
