Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

It is important to know any history of medical illness which prompted you to get CT scan done. Essentially a 2 x 1 cm pre vascular lymph node may be observed and an isolated lymphnode may not be serious. However the diffuse scattered mesenteric lymphnodes need to be analyzed based on size, number and any regional pathology. Subcentimetric nodes are found in certain benign conditions. If you hare having abdominal pain and bowel symptoms then clinically important investigations and blood tests need to be done.
