The semen analysis gives an approximate idea of the ability to conceive. Some men with normal semen analysis may have difficulty and some with abnormal results may not.
(1)Volume- the normal volume is 2.5 mls , your value is slightly below at 2.2 ml
(2)Motility refers to movement of the sperm, at least 50% should be motile. At 40%, there is a slight decrease in movement
(3)The sperm count is normal if there are at least 20 million per ml. Your result is normal at 62 mill/ml
(4)the last percent of 70% normal refers to appearance of the sperm (if they appear normal or not, at least 50% are to appear normal). Your result is good at 70%
Pus cells 0-1, red cells 0-1 and epithelial cells 0-1 are also normal.
