What Does The Sperm Analysis Result Indicate?

we are trying for a second child..my sperm analysis done yesterday reads ...volune : 1ML, color: whitish, Liqification : 30 minutes , Reaction : Alkaline, Total Count : 5 Million, Active Motive : 10%, Sluggish Motive : 10%, Non Motive : 60%, Pus cells :1-2 / HPF, RBC : Nil , Epithelial Cells : Ocassional..can you please advise if this is normal ..or what needs to be done to correct it

Hello

Report suggests decreased sperm count and low motility
Sperm count is low.Normally sperm count should be at least 20 millions/ml.
Motility of sperms is also low.Motility should be at least 55 %.
Few pus cells are acceptable.

You need proper clinical examination and further investigations.
You need routine hemogram,RBS,colour doppler of scrotum(to exclude surgical conditions).Hormone assay can also be done.
You should take nutritious diet and do exercise.
You should avoid tight pants.
Treatment depend upon findings.
