What Does The Thyroid Test Results Indicate?
hello doctor,
please help me with my thyroid medical report..
i am 55yrs old, female , height 5ft 5" , weight 67kg,
as per the thyroid medical investigation,
total triiodothyronine (T3) is 85 ng/dL
total thyroxine (T4) is 5.40 ug/dL
thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is 17.72 ulU/ml
what conclusions can be made
the report is dated as 30/12/2011

Hi,
You are having hypothyroidism. You must see a doctor immediately who will start you on thyroid medications. He will do additional tests like thyroid antibodies or an ultrasound thyroid.
