What Does The Ultrasound Of The Neck Arteries Mean?
Had ultrasound on neck arteries and told that I show NO plaque and the ultrasound person said, Exceptional! Excellent! Best I ve seen - and you are 70 years old! Does this mean I m home free? (re stroke, etc) Also blood flow was excellent, etc.

Hi, Good news. This suggests that the arteries that supply blood to brain appears normal and there is no obstruction in neck region to the flow of blood to brain. This indirectly also suggest that the vessels else where in the body may be good condition.
