I had an USG few days ago and i received the report which says " Anteverted, bulky uterus with heterogeneous myometrium. Endometrium is hypertrophied with presence of few tiny cysts in it. 2-3 tiny cysts seen in the region of cervix. Small fluid is seen in cervical canal." what does it mean? Please suggest what will be the next step for us?
According to the reports your uterus size is enlarged with heterogeneous echotexture. Combined endometrial thickness is increased in your case. There are also few tiny cysts within the endometrium complex. For proper diagnosis you need biopsy of endometrium. It may be due to cystic hypreplasia. Proper treatment depend upon clinical examination and investigation reports. There are few asymptomatic nabothian cysts in the cervix with small fluid in cervical canal. Hope i have answered your query.
