HI.i am dr misbah..plz expalin me this xray accentuated broncho vascular markings at both lung fields an ill-defined opacity is seen at the right parahilar region a thick atelectatic band at the right middle lung zone clear both cp angles no abnormal hilar shadows normal cardiac size and configuration
According to X-rays there is increased bronchovascular markings noted in both lung fields,it may be due to infective etilogy. There is also thick atelectatic band in mid zone of right lung in parahilar region.There are many causes of atelectasis,it may be due to retained secretions,infection etc. Other areas of lung appears normal. CP angles are clear.Cardiac size is normal. Mediastinal structures are normal. Hope i have answered your query.
