What Does The Xray Report Showing: "Cervial Vertebrae In Size And Shape NormalDensityReduced Indicate?

I Sharda singh from Jabalpur MP, My X ray report as under
Cervial vertebrae in size and shape........Normal
Density........Reduced
Osteo arthritic changes............Seen
Disc space reduction .... Between .... C4-C5, C5-C6 & C6-C7 VERT.
Evidence of erosion- Not seen
Evidence of fracture- Not seen
Cervical rib....RUDIMENTARY CERVICAL RIB SEEN ON RT. SIDE
oPINION ..CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS WITH RUDIMENTARY CERVICAL RIB ON RT. SIDE

Thanks for writing to HCM

According to X-ray report,you have osteopenia(decreased calcium) in cervical vertebra.This is indicated by reduced density in the bones.There are also osteo-arthritic changes noted in cervical spine.
There are spondylotic changes in cervical vertebra.
There is also reduction in disc space in between C4-C5, C5-C6 & C6-C7 vertebra.
Cervical rib is noted in right side.
