What Does Thick And Bicuspid Aortic Valve In Report Suggest?

I am having shortness of breath and increased heart beat sometimes so today visit a doctor hr adviced for some test which results are as below LVEF 60% NO LV RWMA MILDLY THICKENED & BICUSPID AORTIC VALVE, NO AS, MILD 2/4 AR AND IN BLOOD REPORT LYMPHOCYTES IS 25% (REF RANGE 30-45) & EOSINOPHILS IS 08 (1-6) & ABSOLUTE EOSINOPHIL COUNT IS 520 (40-450).PLEASE ADVICE ME

Thank you for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

The ECHO report says Ejection fraction is 60% which is slightly less than normal.
The aortic valve is a one-way valve between the heart and the aorta.In bicuspid aortic valve disease (BAVD), the valve has only two leaflets. With this deformity, the valve doesn’t function perfectly.
The aortic valves are mildly thickened and bicuspid aortic valve indicate a valve defect due to which there is mild 2/4 Aortic regurgitation(AR) and hence the shortness of breath .
The Complete blood count is more or less normal.
Do not worry much.
I would suggest you to immediately visit your cardiologist with the ECHO report.
