What Does Thickened Endometrium On Pelvic Sonography Show?

hi im a 35 yr old mother of two girls , on Nov 1 i had a pelvic sonography and the results cam back that I have a Thickened Endometruim of 14mm which A FOLLOW UP IS RECOMMEND .. should i be concern my periods always is 28 days and my last menstrual was Oct 18.. could i be pregnant or does this mean another problem

A thicjened endometrium can mean a number of things like hormonal effect, endometrial abnormalities (endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia, etc.), periods, pregnancy, etc.

It would be difficult to comment on the cause right now as the follow up would be mandatory, based on which further investigations would be recommend.
