What Does Thin Walled Movable Unilocular An Echoic- No Septations Indicate?
A 6cm cyst was seen in my left ovary (thin walled movable unilocular anechoic- no septations, excrescences or solid areas) an ultrasound, serous cystedonoma was considered or it possible to be a corpus luteal cyst instead? I was pregnant and miscarriage thus the ultrasound was done.
Most likely you have simple ovarian cyst.It is not related to miscarriage. You need further evaluation like CA 125 estimation and contrast CT scan of abdomen. You also need follow up USG.In most of the cases, simple ovarian cysts only need watchful observation and it get resolve within 6-8 months. If it increases in size or it cause symptoms then surgical removal can be done.
