What Does This CT Scan For Pelvis Indicate?

I had a CT Scan and it showed fluid fill sacs in my lower pelvic area. I had a complete hysterectomy 8 years ago. I have pain in the pelvic area right before I have a bowel movement, (that is why I went to the Er). The Doctor did say they fluid sacs were pressing up against my lower colen and bladder The Doctor was not sure on how to treat this. They recommend that I see a OBGYN to see if she knows how to treat this. Can you give me any idea on what the treatment is for sacs of fluid in the pelvic area ?

Hello,

well if you could know the exact CT scan reports then giving a opinion would be more easier. Since they suggest OBGYN it can be ovarian cyst or any other thing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suchita Yohan Halli, Emergency Medicine Specialist
