What Does This CT Scan Result For Cancer In Duodenum Indicate?
MY father is a known case pf cancer duodenum metastasis liver. But the recwnt ct scan reports ahow that the cancer has spread to the vertebral body. It reads-:Sclerotic lesion ia seen is d12 vertebral body.Minimal free fluid is seen.Deposits are seen in mesentry, right subhepatic region and pelvis, largest measuring 2.1X1.9 cm.Multiple enlarged peripancreatic, paraaortic and right external illiac nodes are seen with largest measuring 2.2X1.8 cm.Pancreatic atrophy.Peritoneal deposits and sclerotic vertebral leesion are noted in new findings.Kindly throw some light on this report.
(1)Sclerotic lesion in vertebral body- lesion in the vertebra (bones of the back), with associated thickening of the bone
(2)deposits in the mesentry, right subhepatic region and pelvis- areas of cancer lesions were noted in different part of the abdomen (mesentry and right subhepatic) and also in the pelvis
(3)multiple peripancreatic, paraaortic and right external iliac nodes- enlarged lymph nodes throughout the abdomen
(4)pancreatic atrophy- decreased size of the pancreas
