What Does This CT Scan Result For Chronic Cough Indicate?

I have been coughing for five months and have had four lots of Antibiotics which have not helped at all. I have now been sent for a CT Scan and the one comment says there is a small calcified granulomas in the right liver lobe. Can you explain what this means?

Hi. Granulomas are seen in any ongoing systemic condition like the chest infection you mentioned. Its just a lesion in the liver due to a inflammatory reaction. Tb is a common cause. Fungal infections are another. There is an ongoing cause which your pulmonologist need to detect. Take care.
