a) HCV IGM - value 1.12 (reference range 1 = +ve). This test is donw with two different samples of mine to confirm
b) HCV RNA PCR qualitative (20UI/ML) - Not detected
c) HCV IGG - Non reactive.These tests are taken 4 months after the sexual exposure. I.e to be exact 123 days later.
What does these results mean?

If I am to advice you I want to tell you that for any type of this investigation PCR (Polymerese Chain Reaction) is the gold standard investigation you only rely to this investigation. PCR result is showing that you do not have PCR RNA in you, that means you are free from hepatitis C virus. Though IgM HCV is detected but such type of kit may give false results some time.
