What Does This LFT Result For Stiffness And Joints Pain In The Hands And Legs Indicate?
Recently i have been experiencing some stiffness, tiredness and weakness in my both hand (joints) and legs(joints). i carried out a liver function test and my gamma GT is 10U/L, SGOT is 308U/L, SGPT is 166U/L. what could be the cause and possible treatment.
Your liver enzymes are quite up. This usually happens in infection and inflammation. Due to improper functioning of your liver, glucosemetabolism is altered and you may have fatigue and exhaustion. Have low salt, light food, cut down on fats and alcohol, don't smoke and take rest. Visit a hepatologist, who would procure your viral markers.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
