hello dr my mom suffering from tubercular. this is a MRI report please give me advice

MRI report is:

GRANULOMATOUS | TUBERCOLAR | SPONDYLITS AT D11,D12, L1 VERTEBRAL BODIES ADJACENT ENDPLATES ENDPLATES -INNERVENING D12-L1 DISCITIS,DEFINITE ANTERIOR SUBLIGAMENTOUS | D10 -L2 |

-LEFT PARAVERTEBRAL / PSOAS INFLAMMATORY | L1 TO L3| COLLECTION? COMPONENT AND SMALL POSTERIOR SUBLIGAMENTOUS -EPIDURAL TO L3 | COMPONENT - D11 TO L1-2 LEVEL , LATER CAUSING THECAL SAC -UNDERLYING LOWER CORD -CONS COMPRESSION AT D12-L1. ADVICE-CLINICAL/ ESR CORRELATION WITH FOLLOW -UP.

Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
The MRI suggests that your mother is having infection of the spine...affecting the vertebral bodies as well as the intervertebral discs. Some amount of collection is also there in the surrounding areas. All these suggests infection - most likely tubercular - of the spine. She should meet an orthopedician and take necessary treatment for the infection otherwise it will spread further.
