What Does This MRI Result For Lower Back Pain Indicate?
I ve been experiencing lower back pain on my right side. It started a year ago when I injured myself playing tennis while serving. The trainer at school said I had pulled it. I never did anything about it and played through my season with pain and after my season ended I started lifting weights and my back got stronger and it stopped bothering me. Up until the beginning of this season again, while I was serving yet again. I had an X-ray and it was normal and the MRI only showed an accentuation of the lumbarsacral angle. Could you explain what that means or interpret for me. Thanks
You seem to be suffering from Lumbar Hyperlordosis....it is basically a condition that occurs after stress when the normal common postural curve of the back is accentuated leading to lower back pain. It can be caused by overuse of the back muscles or improper movements of that area. Your MRI also points to that finding.
I hope this answers your query. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns. Wishing you good health.
