What Does This MRI Test Result For Back Pain Indicate?
L4/5 moderate disc desiccation and height loss. Same.on l5/s1. Broad based bulged disc. Linear t2 signal in dorsal disc measuring for 6mm compatible with annular fissure. The disc bulge cintact the bilateral descending l5 nerve roit s in lateral recesses. Can you help me better understand this. All I know is my back hurts me all the time.
well, its about your backbone. as you know backbone is made up of 7 cervical (C), 12 thoracic (T) 5 lumbar (L), 5 sacral (S) and 5 fused coccyx. And each of there vertebra have a disc in between made up of cartilage. so in the Lumbar region (L) of your backbone the disc have displaced a bit and so have in the sacral (S) region. The rest depicts the situation inside your back around the backbone. you might be having shooting pain in either/ both of your legs. You can either go for a physiotherapy or a steroid therapy for its treatment. -Dr Gunjan
