What Does This MRI Test Result For Muscle Pain Indicate?

I have been taking Fenofibrate (134 mg) for about 5 months. Co-incidentally, I ve started experiencing horrible back pains. My MRI only shows arthritis-type bone condition. I also feel weak and achy in my muscles. Do you think there might be any correlation between taking the Fenofibrate? I was taking this thinking I was getting away from statins side effects.

Hello,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
Fenofibrates are known for causing severe muscle pain as a side effect. it increases levels of creatinine phosphokinase and liver enzymes . hence kindly visit your cardiologist and get your CPK levels and liver enzymes checked. If they have increased drastically , you may need to change your medication.
