What Does This WBC Count After Chemo For AML Indicate?
SIR, MY MOTHER IN LOW GOT AML M2 AND UNDER WENT CHEMO AND AFTER TREATMENT, BONE MARROW STUDY SHOWED NORMAL. AFTER SEVEN MONTHS IT IS RELAPSED. Hb = 10.9%, WBC = 2000, PLATLETS = 110000. DOCTOR SAID NO CHEMO FOR WITHIN ONE YEAR. NOW ON AYURVEDIC TREATMENT. WHAT IS THE NEXT?

If AML M2 relapsed after a course of chemotherapy then bone marrow transplantation is the treatment of choice.
