What Does This WIDAL Test Result Indicate?
Hi, we have conducted WIDAL test for my 8 yr old daughter...and following the results - Salmonella typhi O (TO) - Reactive 1:80 Salmonella typhi H (TH) - Reactive 1:80 Salmonella paratyphi A, H (AH) - Non Reactive Salmonella paratyphi B, H (BH) - Non Reactive can you please suggest, how bad the typhoid symptoms are?

Based on the Widal results, the typhoid fever is slightly positive so it can be or can not be present. If i were your daughter s doctor i would suggest to start on Azithromycin syrup according to the weight of your daughter for 5 days.
