My son had an abdominal scan and here is what was written in the report about his kidneys...KIDNEYS AND URETERS: The right kidney measures 12.2 cm in craniocaudal dimension. There is a small 5 mm nonenhancing cyst in the upper pole the right kidney. There is a 2.2 x 1.9 x 2.0 cm nonenhancing cyst in the lower pole the right kidney. The left kidney measures 8.4 cm in craniocaudal dimension. There is multifocal renal parenchymal scarring throughout the left kidney. No focal lesions. is this something to be concerned about? Just an FYI...he is a congenital heart patient with one functioning ventricle...hypoplastic right heart
