What Does This Abdominal Ultra Sound Scan Finding Indicate?
I just had an ultra sound because or severe cramping I encounter throughout the month. The ultra sound came back saying I have Coarse heterogeneous echotexture. My Dr. Responded saying it as normal but the Dr. who relayed he results in his response said This can be seen in the setting of adenomyosis.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Adenomyosis is a gynecologic medical condition characterized by the abnormal presence of endometrial tissue. Medications such as Ibuprofen can reduce pain and discomfort. Some hormonal treatments, such as oral contraceptive pills, progestin IUD’s, or injection, can help lessen the symptoms. You should consult your gynecologist about these treatment otions.
Hope my answer was helpful.
