What Does This Anomaly Ultra Sound Scan Finding Indicate?

Hi there, I am 20 weeks pregnant and went through anomaly scan and it shows: Liquor is adequate. Placenta is fundal and posterior Curvical length is 3.0 cm. OS is closed. What does this mean? And it shows B.P.D-4.76 cm H.C-18.05 cm A.C-16.66 cm F.L-3.60 cm, so is this normal for 20-21 weeks. Thanks

Thanks for the concern. You are 20 weeks pregnant and generally at 20 weeks ultrasonography is done for detecting any anomaly in baby. Sonography at 20 weeks is done for detecting the growth of baby, any anomaly in baby, foetal body weight, position of placenta and blood supply to baby.This sonography is very essential for parents and treating gynaecologist as this will help you take some important decisions.
About your sonography it is found that the growth of baby is appropriate and no anomaly is detected in baby. But still you have to consult your gynaecologist and do accordingly. Hope this might help you. Take care
