Both kidneys apper small in size and echogenic, corticomedullary differentiation is maintained, no calculus or hydronephrosis right kidney measures 8.0 cm with a parenchymal thickness of 0.8 cms left kidney measures 7.3cm with a parenchymal thickness of 1.0 cms
Only abnormality is bilateral mildly small kidneys. It may be just a anatomical variation. It may be due to many reasons like developmental, height, race related etc.Since other factors are alright,it is not a matter of concern. Echotexture of both kidneys and cortico-medullary differentiation is alright. There is no calculus or hydronephrosis noted in either kidneys. Parenchymal thickness is also normal.
