What Does This Below Pelvis Scan Indicate?

Dear Sir/Madam,
My mom is facing irregular & massive bleeding from past several months. She is 48yr old & ahad been into treatment since it got started. But still her problem isn't diagnosed, her recent pelvis scan report stated that she has a "BULKY UTERUS WITH ENDOMETRIUM HYPERPLASIA"
uterus measures : 12.2 x 6.44 cms
Endometrium Cavity thickened : 1.25 cm
I request you to guide with me proper assistance which could help my mom being diagnosed.
Thank You.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The uterus appears bulky which means increased in measurements anterior-posterior and length.
2.Endometrial thickness is increased measuring 12mm ( hyperplasia - increased number of cells)
3.The above symptoms are seen in the hormonal imbalance / inflammation / infection.
4.The treatment in this case includes hormonal treatment.
5.An endometrial scrap - for histological evaluation and possibilities of hysterectomy might be needed if required. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
