What Does This Biopsy Report Indicate?

Hispatologic Diagnosis Modified Radical Mastectomy Left - Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - Histologic Grade: 2 (Moderately Differentiated) - Basal margin is very close to tumor - Nipple areola Complex and all (10/10) axillary nodes are free of tumor Please give me an idea above this biopsy result

Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing the biopsy report I'm of the following opinion:

1. Invasive ductal carcinoma is the most common ductal cancer and nodes tested are free from cancer cells but these cancer cells may break through the wall of the duct and can invade the other tissues of the breast via the lymph nodes and bloodstream, as well as other parts of the body [metastasis]

2. It is termed as “triple negative” breast cancer, in which the cancer cells tested were negative for estrogen, progesterone and HER2 receptors. As a result, so chemotherapy following surgery tends to be the appropriate treatment

3. For more information and analysis kindly check with your gynecologist
