Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Just had surgery Monday to removed growth in my neck ( still sore) Anyhow prior to surgery, I had a Fine Needle Biopsy done and today I decided what the heck, I went on the doctors Patient portal to see results. Does anyone know what this might mean: LCA is positive in lymphocytes. CD20 and CD5 are also positive with predominance of CD20. CKAE1/AE3 and CK5/6 are negative. Just wondering what this means. I have a follow up next week
Hi, thanks for asking a question. regarding the the report all LCA,CD20,CD5 indicates may be the lesion is low grade lymphoma. When you go for your next visit your treating doctor will explain you about the treatment. there is a specific treatment and the disease can be curable.
