What Does This Chest X-ray Report For Frequent Cough Indicate?
My son is 6 yrs old having frequent cough and after examining doctor sugested for x-ray of soft tisuue of nasopharynx. And the X-ray report shows that soft tissue opacity is seen in posterior part of nasopahryx. what is the meaning of this report? anythig serious?

According to x ray it must be adenoids which is commonly seen in children.
If it is causing recurrent problem it will need surgery to remove the adenoids.
So kindly consult a ENT surgeon for opinion over the surgery and need of it.
Do not be worried. Its a small surgery and one day procedure.
