What Does This Coronary Angiography Test Finding Indicate?
Hello Doctor(s): I am concerned about my mom s health now who recently had angioplasty after first attack. The coronary angiogram reported as below. 1. LMCA normal 2. LAD thin vessel 90% lesion after D1; distal 1.5 mm size vessel 3. Diagonals: D1 – proximal 90% lesion 4. LCx – proximal 50% lesion 5. OMs: thin vessel and normal 6. RCA – proximal 70% lesion 7. PDA normal 8. PLVB – proximal total occlusion The diagonal artery D1 is only 1.2 mm in diameter and has 90% lesion. Is angioplasty possible and/or recommended at all in this situation? THANKS IN ADVANCE
