What Does This Finding Of Ultra Sound Scan Of Liver Indicate?

dear doctor, my liver is enlarged i n size (211mm),shape and configuration. the hepatic parenchyma exhibits increased echogenicity. the IHBR & EHBR are not dialated. there is no focal lesion is seen. the hepatic veins are also normal.what you suggested

Thanks for posting in HCM.
The ultrasound report of the liver does not show any growth or lesions inside the liver. The intra hepatic biliary radicals (IHBR) and extra hepatic biliary radicals (EHBR) are not dilated and it indicates that biliary tract is normal.
Only thing what the report indicates is that there is a uniform enlargement of the liver, which you need to be concerned.
This could be probably due to fatty changes taking place in the liver or when you are recovering from an infection of the liver like hepatitis.
In case you are alcoholic, as this is a early sign of liver damage, you need to quit it completely.
You can take anti-oxidant capsules containing Vitamin E and Selenium once daily and check for the improvement after 6 months.
