Hi there and thanks for sharing your question with HCM.
This is a normal ultrasound report.
The ultrasound confirms that your uterus is swollen (bulky in size) - this makes sense for you have not had a periods for the past 2 months. Endometrial echo refers to the uterine lining. In your case, 9mm is
perfectly normal as your uterus lining thickens prior to having a period.
A homogenous (single texture)
myometrium (muscle lining of the uterus) simply means that there is no abnormal growth disrupting the muscle lining of the uterus.
Fibroids are benign growths of the uterus.
PCOS -
polycystic ovarian disease - your ovaries appear normal and do not have cysts
GS -
gestational sac, which is seen in pregnancy
Periods can become irregular during weight, dietary and activity changes. Eat healthily and do not feel too anxious. If you are
overweight, losing weight can help regulate your cycles. Being too
underweight as well can disrupt one's periods. Extreme sports and excessive dieting can also throw one's cycles off track. Severe emotional, exam or work stress is another factor affecting a girl's periods.
Hope this answers your question.
