Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife recently had a mammogram where it showed a suspicious mass - left breast, 2 cm, asymmetrical, she has a slight dimple & inverted nimple. There are no spiculations, her breast parenchyma is moderately dense bilaterally. The Radiologist indicates there is developing distortion suspected in the retroareolar region of the left breat @ 1:00 0clock position. Further - he states no spiculation, skin thickening , nipple retraction or calcifications in either breast to suggest malignancy. She had a core biopsy today - no results yet.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given radiological report is suggestive of malignancy (Suspected ) but it may needs several other test for final diagnosis and biopsy is the main one, just lets hope for the good, hope this information helps.
