Hi I recieved a bcg vaccination at school when I was about 15. I am now 28 and do not have a TB scar but because I am going into the health profession I needed proof that I have had the BCG vaccination. I went to the chest clinic and had the mantux test. It has measured to be 17mm is this normal?
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your mountoux test is positive. It means you are prior exposed to the tuberculous antigen. It happens after mountoux test also. So don't worry. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
