Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I m 58 yoa, postmenopausal. Results of a pelvic sonogram found the following: transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic sonogram shows the uterus to measure 66 by 28 by 39-mm. Endometrial thickness is 3-mm. There is no ovarian mass. Transvaginal scans show minimal fluid in the endometrial cavity. There is also a tiny mass in the endometrium. The ovaries are normal in size. There is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac. I m wondering about these abnormalities and what they mean. What are possible causes for the mass and the fluid? I have a lot of cancer in my family including 2 siblings that died of gall bladder cancer. Thanks for your help.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the given report seems normal and this is nothing to worry, one thing you really need to remember and that is clinical symptoms, if there is no sign and symptoms then this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
