What Does This Radiology Finding Indicate?

Hello, My wife is about 7 weeks pregnant. During sex, she started bleeding (quite much). She went for a scan and the Radiology Report reads: A moderately large irregular oval shaped echogenic mass (measuring 55x23mm) is seen within the endometrial cavity. This is consistent with retained products of conception. The uterus is non-gravid, bulky, anteverted and returned homogeneous echoes. Both adnexae and P.O.D are free. Impression: Features are consistent with incomplete Spontaneous Abortion evidenced by Retained Products of Conception. What does this mean please?

Hi,
Sorry to state the pregnancy has been terminated due to spontaneous abortion. Still the products are there in the utwrine cavity. probably will be shed outside in next cycles.
