hello sir,
this is my widal test report.
s typhi (O) = 1/40
s typhi (H) = 1/40
s Para typhi (AH) = 1/40
s Para typhi (BH) = 1/40
Is it negative.. please tell me the solution for having fever, stomach ache and feeling very cold. My malarial parasite is also negative.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of fever, stomach ache can be due to infection of the gastrointestinal tract.
The cause of infection can be typhoid fever, however, there are other bacteria too which can cause similar symptoms.
Typhoid can be diagnosed by Widal test.
The Widal test is considered positive if the O and H antibodies are above 1/160 and there is four folds increase in the antibody titres.
The antibody titre is your case is 1/40 only.
So, the Widal test is negative.
The Widal test becomes negative if the patient has taken antibiotic before taking up the test.
You need to consult your physician to look for other cause of infection.
