my wife aged 33yrs in her scan report says hypoechoic lesions with well defined margins is noted to relation to the fundus of the uterus. size 11.0 x 9.7 cms. no evidence of calcifications within lesion. pls ans

The hypoechoic lesions seen on ultrasound scan are fibroids of uterus which is usually a benign growth. If it is associated with excessive bleeding then surgery is the best treatment.
