yes i want to know about my friend s test report it is about serology test he has samonella typhi O antigent positive 1/160 and h H antigent positive 1/80 AH &BH shows negative.. plz sir let me know the detail about it. is their any risk is h antigent +ve having 1/80 dangerous .. plz answer me ..

The interpretation of Widal test is as follows:
The antibody titres for Salmonella typhi for O antigen is 1:160 which is positive and suggests infection with Salmonella typhi bacteria.
The antibody titres for all other antigens Salmonella antigen H, salmonella paratyphi A and B are low and thus there is no infection with Salmonella paratyphi.
Consult your physician for prescription of drugs for typhoid fever.
