my father, who is 46 years old, has a swelling at cubital and axillary lymph nodes on the left side. he made some analysis. antitoxocara canis IgG ( result : 5 ); anti Toxoplasma Gond IgM ( result: negative ); anti toxoplasma Gond IgG ( result: 511.25 IU/ml ); VSH (result: 28 mm/h ); HEM (result: 26.10pg); CRP (result: 146,9 mg/L )
Hi I did review your concern. The lymph node swelling could be due to any cause. If it persists more than 2 weeks and is not red I would recommend a fine needle aspiration cytology to rule out any specific cause of enlargement. Your serum tests are indicative of past toxoplasma infection due to high IgG and negative and IgM. I hope this helps wish you all the best thank you for choosing healthcaremagic
