All cases of symptomatic gallstones are indicated for the treatment regardless of the size and number of stones. With asymptomatic gallstones, the role of cholecystectomy and other treatments is unclear. From the study tracking the natural history of gallstones showed no need for preventive cholecystectomy, except high-risk patients with gallbladder cancer as porcelain gallbladder, combined with stone gallbladder polyps larger than 10 mm, 25 mm larger stones ...
Annually, only 1- 2% of patients with asymptomatic gallstones develop into symptoms. There are some (The complications of gallstones include:

- Acute pancreatitis caused by gallstones in the common bile duct and fell in the end stuck clog bile duct and pancreatic duct the bile duct. This is very serious complications, should intervene promptly remove the stones.
- Cancer of the gallbladder associated with gallstones big (over 25 mm), gravel with gallbladder polyp, porcelain gallbladder. It progresses silently, often diagnosed late.
Currently, there are 2 methods gallstone treatment: non-surgical and surgical.
- Non-surgical treatments tan gravel pill, the body lithotripsy by shock waves, melt and remove stones and gravel through the skin, gall bladder stone removal through endoscopy. The result of the treatment methods are not high, depending on the type of stone, gravel size and anatomy of the bile duct. Additionally, these therapies have the same characteristics as to the gallbladder, where will future stone formation, thereby limiting the long-term results.
- Surgical treatment cholecystectomy surgery laparotomy and cholecystectomy through laparoscopy. Today, in many hospitals have adopted laparoscopic cholecystectomy routinely with many advantages: small incision, less postoperative pain, faster recovery and aesthetic.
After gallbladder surgery, patients do not need to take additional drugs for digestive support liver secretes bile still full.
I understand your concern, you do not have symptoms, complications of gallstones, gallstones size was small. therefore, no need to intervene with surgery, you use some to dissolve gallstones, reasonable diet
