What Does This Urinalysis For Pus In Urine Indicate?
I would like to ask. My daughter is now at the hospital due to UTI. We are about 3 days from now. We have admitted her because in the recent lab result that the urine has pus which is tntc. After giving antibiotic Administered thru iv in 2 days another urinalysis has been done and the lab result is wbc 4-6 and rbc tntc, redish and turbid and i dont see in the lab result regarding pus. May i know what does it mean? Does she heal? Thanks. :(
Tntc refers to too numerous to count. In the first analysis report, pus cells must have been numerous. In the second test, after antibiotic use it has reduced. But presence of rbc is high.Causes of hemolysis should be ruled out.It is of concern and should be treated by identifying the cause.Renal function should be checked.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
