General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the typhoid coverage with the vaccine is around 80% with recent vaccines even.

It is the food and waterborne infection of the intestine which can represent as a chronic course if the total duration of therapy is not done, drug resistance issue or recurrent infection due to low immunity at Peyer's patches of the small intestine.

Need to consult me in my office with all details of previous therapy and reports for further discussion to cure the issue in the best possible manner.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
