General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, report of 1 + in Widal test may be interpreted as:

@ early low grade infection with Salmonella typhi
@ clinically non significant issue
@ mild symptoms or asymptomatic
@ best recovery if it is during a follow up investigation in compare to previous ones

However, any report corelation has to be done with underlying symptoms and physical findings only.

If you can provide details of current symptoms, better guidelines can be figured out for sure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
