What Does This X-ray Report Of Sinus Mean?

My baby 5yrs reported bilateral frontal sinuses are hypoplastic and have partisl opacification of right maxillary sinus as per x-ray report... also baby has vitamin D3 deficency with 8.10 oh.vit d,serum(Cmia). please advise the remedy and how serious is this for baby?

Hello,

The vitamin deficiency can be managed by vitamin D supplementation. The opacity in right maxillary sinus can be due to sinusitis. Sinusitis needs to be treated with antibiotics. The hypoplasia of frontal sinus is probably genetic and can be corrected by surgery.
