What Does Throat Congestion, Bloody Sputum, Mild Chest Pain And Mild Head Ache Indicate?

I have a constant sensation of a lump in my throat, just coughed up trace amounts of bright red blood in clear-colorless sputum after a coughing/gagging fit, and have mild chest pain/pressure, and very dull throbbing frontal head ache, stuffy sinuses

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
It seems that you have got upper respiratory tract infection possibly pharyngitis. It will be advisable to go for chest xray, and xray paranasal sinus to rule out sinusitis. You may yourself see a congested posterior pharyngeal wall in mirror.
you may take steam inhaltion 3-4 times a day to drain your sinus.
Empirical antibiotic like amoxycillin- clavulanic acid will be good here after sending the posterior pharyngeal swab for culture and sensitivity...

Best wishes
