What Does Tight Sensation On The Upper Back And Neck Indicate?
I had a massage on Sunday. I have a lot of tightness in my upper back, neck area. She work a lot on this area trying to loosen up the muscles. Sunday night I developed vertigo which happened one other time after a massage. Seen then I ve been very fatigued and sleepy. I have a dull headache in the posterior head near the neck. I have some lightheadedness. Is there something I can do to help this subside?
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that tightness in the back and shoulders indicates towards a diagnosis of cervical spondylosis. You should get a CT scan of the cervical spine . If you have cervical spondylosis massage will increase the severity so you should refrain from it. You should consult a physiotherapist who will show you some exercises to decrease the tightness and relax your muscles. Also you can take a muscle relaxant like chlorzoxasone for immediate relief. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
